Transition #1

Today was transition day #1. We drove back from Hampton to Norfolk, and made great time. Nana and Grandpa were sad to see us go, but other stops await on Connor's East Coast Tour.

Connor was extremely cooperative for the entire car ride home. We got home around 12:30, unpacked the clothes, started laundry, fed Connor, ate lunch, finished laundry, ate dinner, repacked, and are now getting ready for bed so we can get up early and head off to Philly to see Auntie Maura and Kerry, and Uncle Ethan. Rumor has it that Austin will even be around before he heads to Vegas to make big bucks for Connor's tuition. Connor can't wait to meet him.

One great side note is that Connor managed to sneak in a Doctor's visit this afternoon to get a shot. And the only reason I mention it is because he was a regular tough guy. Got the shot, winced for a second, then shook it off, and looked at Kendal and I while we were staring in amazement as if to say, "So are you guys ready to get going or what?"

In the morning we get going to Philadelphia, PA.
